And setting up a play yard is NOT CHEAP! The cheapest quotation I have gotten is $210 for six panels of Haenim play yard! WOW!!! On top of this, you have to share with another person for 3 sets of play yard (4 panels in a set) in order to get 6 panels each. Thus after discussing with hubby, we decided to get a pre-loved set (6 panels) in order to save some cost. It took me more than a month to find one, aiyo! The demand is very high and yet the supply is super low. It was very crazy until few mommies have to fight for a set, and normally it will be reserved/sold the next moment after a mommy/seller posts her advertisement online. I always be too slow in “competing” with them, sigh…So what I did was, no matter how late, I still contacted the seller after seeing their ads, hoping that if the buyer opt out last mins, the seller will contact me. Haha…this really happened, and that was how I got the pre-loved play yard for my son at $120 with condition of 8/10. Not too bad right?
I would say although the play yard is very expensive ($120 for Haenim play yard + $119 for playmat), it is a great investment for us! Isaac plays, drinks, eats and naps in the play yard everyday. Hubby commented that the play yard is our Isaac’s bedroom! Haha…Now I do not have problem working in the kitchen while hubby busy with his works in the study room by “dumping” Isaac in the play yard! What we need to do is to peep on him from time to time. We do not need to worry he will kiss the floor or pull the wires anymore! Of course, we will “release” him from play yard and spend quality time with him when we are free. That is for sure as we enjoy “playing” with him very much! Hee…
My little "bu dao wong" playing with toys intact on the play yard.
