LAUGHTER

Our little precious is 4-month old today! Yeah!!!

Baby Isaac is learning to flip now, finally ah! Hoho...he is a bit slow in this, we read that some baby can flip over at 3-month old. Anyway, every baby is different, as long as he is developing well, slow is not an issue to us! Baby, jiayou, we know you can do it eventually!
Son, daddy and mommy wishing you "快高长大", continue to be a happy baby and live up to your name - Isaac (From the Hebrew Yitzchak, meaning "he will laugh" or "laughter")!

Isaac's contagious laughter always make our day & night!

FEVER

My poor baby had high fever (38.4°C) last Saturday after his 5-in-1 jab. Unlike his first 6-in-1 jab (He still drank and slept well despite having fever), he was super cranky and required full attention from us. Sigh…I should have fed him Panamol right after the Jab. The PD told us only 10-15% of baby will develop fever after the Jab! Aiyo! Thankfully his fever subsided the next day.

My cheerful baby after recovering from fever!

SEPARATION

I finally back at workforce this week , it is really tough for both mommy and son, especially on the first day - Monday.

We sent baby to his nanny’s place early in the morning, when he just woke up from his sleep. He wailed upon reaching nanny’s place. Oh my poor baby, he has started recognizing people and place. He kept bian zui (扁嘴) and never stop looking around. I was very heartpain and can’t control my tears. At the end, mommy sobbed with son at nanny’s place, so dramatic right? Bleh…*blushing* Thankfully, my boy adapted well to new environment and caregiver, I saw him smiled to his nanny when I fetched him home on Monday evening. *Phew* So far, we are quite happy with his nanny, but of course, we will continue to monitor closely and make sure my boy is in good hands! My son used to be a happy baby and smiles a lot to us, but we notice that he smiles less this week, probably he is angry and complaining with us, wahaha…hopefully this is just a transition to him. Fortunately, he remains as a talkative baby! Hee…not too bad!

Oh ya, my son have started sleep through the night since he was 3 month-old, Hurray! And lazy mommy also stop mid-night pumping le…Baby Isaac is on total breastfeed during weekdays, as I have run out of space in my freezer to store the expressed breast milk. We will give him formula milk when we go out during weekends. Hee…do not mistaken, my supply is not very much, but my son is a small drinker, sigh…Will try my best in breastfeeding, not sure how long I can preserve? I need to pump at least once in the office, as my working time is short (I resume my part-time job as unable to find a permanent job now. Let me know if you have any lobang k?) My supply has dropped after returning to workforce. Besides, my boss is well-known with demanding, and I don’t think that he is considerate and supportive of breastfeeding while working lo. Moreover, I feel “restricted” pumping in the office and maybe because of this, I had complication on day 2 of work – Plugged ducts! Sobs…that was a very painful experience, triggered me to think of giving up breastfeeding! Well, will see how it goes…as I need to work in the chemical labs real soon…
