Baby Isaac learnt how to flip onto his tummy when he reached 4-month old. He twisted and turned, and managed to make his first flip after a week of trying. But not sure why, he seldom flip after that, I think he must be too lazy to do so or simply forgot how to flip?! Wahaha…until 1 day before turning 5-month, he suddenly remembered/realized that he actually can flip! Hoho…since that he is flipping countless times a day! By the way, my boy can flip very well for his left side, but not to well for the right side, hee :)
Now that Isaac has mastered the flipping, we become very busy everyday. Once we put him down, the next momemt we will find him on his tummy, aiyo! Must keep watching on him at all times now, just in case! To play safe, we will normally leave him on the playmat or cot. Besides, he is still clueless on how to flip from tummy to back, thus he always struggling due to discomfort from being “turtle” for long! Haha…. we have to keep running to him and rescue him the moments he screams for help! This also happened in the middle of night!!! *Concuss* And with flipping, he will always spits milk after feeding, I really hate to clear up the mess after that. *diaoz* Anyway, we are still very glad that my boy finally can flip well!
On top of flipping, at 5-month old, baby Isaac has learnt to:
- “Bite” on anything. Basically, he still prefers his hands the most! He likes munching on his fists and sucking his fingers, until very loud!
- Most of the time, he only cry when hungry, sleepy and feeling lonely
- "Stare" at his fists then his hand
- Play “peek-a-boo” with his bean sprout pillow
- Sleep on his side and can’t sleep without his bean sprout pillow
- Pull my “already dropping like nobody business” hair, ouch!
- He is very friendly. He is not afraid of strangers, and smile to everyone
- He is very playful and easily amused
- He has found a new toy – toes. I am sure sooner or later he will put them into his mouth, wahaha!
- “Sing” before sleeping
- Look into the mirror. He will smile to the one who look exactly same as him in the mirror, hee…very cute!
In another 1-2 weeks time, we will start him on semi-solid, so excited!
My little scholar “reading” the flash card, but...
